MailProtect is an anti-spam protection service for email inboxes, accessible via a native iOS and macOS application. The service allows you to:
Primary email processing is performed on the user's device. Certain security features (attachment antivirus scanning, AI classification) use ephemeral server-side processing with no data storage.
The MailProtect service is offered as a subscription at the following rates:
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included (incl. VAT). MailProtect reserves the right to modify its pricing at any time. New prices only apply to new subscriptions or renewals following the change.
Payment is made by credit card via the secure Stripe platform. MailProtect does not store any banking data. Transactions are entirely managed by Stripe in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
The subscription is automatically billed at each due date (monthly or annually) until cancelled by the user.
The MailProtect subscription is commitment-free. The user may cancel their subscription at any time from their account dashboard or by contacting support at contact@mailprotect.fr.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. The user retains access to the service until that date.
In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the user has 14 days from the date of subscription to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide any reason.
To exercise this right, the user may send an email to contact@mailprotect.fr indicating their wish to withdraw. The refund will be made within 14 days of receiving the request, using the same payment method used for the subscription.
In the event of cancellation during the current period (outside the right of withdrawal), a proportional refund for the remaining time on the current period may be granted upon request to support. This refund is calculated pro rata based on the number of remaining days.
MailProtect commits to providing a service available 24/7, subject to maintenance operations necessary for the proper functioning of the service. MailProtect shall not be held responsible for interruptions due to force majeure or malfunctions of third-party email providers.
MailProtect uses all reasonable means to ensure the quality of anti-spam filtering. However, MailProtect cannot guarantee:
Under no circumstances shall MailProtect be held liable for indirect damages, such as data loss, loss of opportunity or loss of profit, resulting from the use or inability to use the service.
MailProtect's liability is limited to the amounts actually paid by the user during the last 12 months.
All elements comprising the MailProtect service (software, interface, texts, images, algorithms) are protected by intellectual property law and remain the exclusive property of MailProtect. Any unauthorized reproduction, modification or distribution is prohibited.
The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the service, the user accepts this policy.
MailProtect reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Users will be notified by email of any substantial changes. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These Terms of Service are governed by French law. In case of dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution before taking legal action. Failing an amicable agreement, the competent French courts shall have jurisdiction.
In accordance with the provisions of the French Consumer Code, the consumer may refer to a consumer mediator in the event of an unresolved dispute.
